Denkstube A – “Clemens August Andreae”:
Denkstube A with an area of 30.75 m², offers room for up to 20 people and was named after university professor Clemens August Andreae. Mr Andreae was a man of words and was the rector of Innsbruck University from 1981 to 1983. He was an eloquent and communicative scientist and his ideas, which were often provocative have, meanwhile, become reality.

Denkstube B has an area of 27.50 m² and offers room for up to 20 people. It is named after the famous governor Eduard Wallnöfer. Eduard Wallnöfer is often described as the father figure of the state of Tyrol and was famous and loved for his popular manner far beyond the country’s borders. For many years he considerably defined Austria’s political landscape and had an important influence on it.

Denkstube C covers an area of 40 m² and offers room for up to 35 people. It is named after Prof. Dr. Hans Marberger, who was the director of the Innsbruck Urological Clinic for many years. As an internationally recognised specialist he made a considerable contribution to the international reputation of the clinic and Innsbruck University. His contribution to research and teaching remains unforgotten and defines the legacy of the medical community in the long term.

The Mathias Schmid Gallery covers an area of 24.60 m² and offers room for up to 10 people. It is named after the genre and historical painter and illustrator Mathias Schmid who was born in 1835 in See in Paznaun and died in 1923. His art took Schmid to Munich where he attended the academy. One of his most notable works depicts the departure of Tyrolean children from Swabia (annual departure to find work) which was a significant topic of his time.
The Ideenwerkstatt offers an area of 64 m² with room for up to 60 people. The room includes free conference aids e.g. WIFI, projector, screen, flip chart, pinboard, speaker pult and presenter’s equipment.
